The week of Passover, we don’t read a portion (or parashah) from the regular reading cycle. Instead, there are additional, special readings that are assigned for the holiday—beginning on Erev Pesach, where we retell the story of the Exodus at the Seder, and continuing through the week of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. These readings are fixed on the Hebrew calendar, being for the dates Nisan 14-21, but they “float” on our Western calendar.
The traditional readings don’t include anything from the B’rit Chadasha unfortunately, but we look forward to the time when they will. We’ve included some additional readings that connect the festival of Passover with our Messiah, Yeshua.
